Join us at Katie Fitzgeralds in April for the very first Stourbridge Literary Festival , with Poetry , spoken word and performance from local and national writers. The event is in support of Amnesty International and is supported by Black Country Arts, Stourbridge Library and Waterstones Merry Hill. Katie Fitzgeralds and Stourbridge Library are hosting the Stourbridge Litfest from April 26th to May4th.

Poetry for Freedom Competition

As part of our support for Stourbridge Litfest we are producing a book of poetry , the theme being freedom . The collection will be published by APS publishing and all profits from the sale of the book will go to Amnesty International.

Conditions of entry are
1. Submission as a PDF , word doc or text file to us at Katie Fitzgeralds facebook or email

2.  Entry fee £2.50

3. Any entrant can contact us to perform on Sunday 30th at Litfest

4. All poems submitted will appear in the collection.

5. We reserve the right to refuse anything that is deemed inappropriate!

6. Winning poem selected by judges will receive £50 cash.
