Quarry Bank Musical Theatre Society

Quarry Bank Musical Theatre Society

Quarry Bank Musical Theatre Society (originally Quarry Bank Operatic Society), is a Midlands' based musical theatre group and registered charity (no 702734) that has promoted the performing arts and entertained audiences since 1960.

Our main work is performing an annual production of a musical style show each year. Through this production, we encourage the growth of appreciation of the said arts through participating in the production in many roles, be it acting or non acting. We also heavily publicise our work, to keep the local community informed on what we are doing. Our next production is "42nd Street' from Tuesday June 6th June to Saturday June 10th 2017 at Brierley Hill Civic Hall, Brierley Hill.

2017 also sees the launch of our new youth section 'QBMTYS' which aims to give young people in the local area the opportunity to perform large scale musical productions. We are proud to announce that our first production will be Les Miserables Schools Edition from 20th to 23rd September at the Town Hall, Stourbridge.

We also perform 'one off' concerts and performances throughout the year.

As a society of members and a registered charity, we hold many social and fundraising events to support us in our work. We have also fundraised and donated to other charitable causes.
