Following the success of our recent show "A Song to Remember" I'm excited to announce our next event. "From Hollywood to Broadway" will take you on a musical journey back to the golden age of the 30s/40s /50s when Gene Kelly sang in the rain and Fred and Ginger had us on our toes! The evening will include a wonderful collaboration of songs and piano medleys from the stage of broadway to the screen of Hollywood.

Tara Kelsey -Mezzo Soprano and Wayne Baddeley-show Pianist will be joined once again by guest singer Joe Johnson-Tenor for what promises to be an evening filled with nostalgia.

Staged in the beautiful and impressive Grand Hall at Wolverhampton Grammer School.

A Bar will be available during interval.

Doors open at 7.00pm for 7.30 pm start.

Tickets are £12 each and available online http://buytickets.at/songsforyou

Enville Street Dramatic Society

Enville Street Dramatic Society

Enville Street Dramatic Society was founded in 1947 as the social arm of Enville Street Methodist Church in West Street, Stourbridge.

The first play, Forced Landing, was presented in 1948 and to date has presented 127 plays - a mixture of drama, comedies and thrillers.

In 2005 due to the proposed demolition of the West Street premises we moved to St. Thomas's Church Hall and in 2013 moved on again and now perform at Holy Trinity Amblecote Church Hall.  This move has helped us to improve the theatre experience both for the actors and our audience and made parking easy.   We opened with a very successful production of "Fawlty Towers" for which we won another Best Play award from the National Operatic and Dramatic Association. Our sixth nomination and 2nd win.

Our 2017 / 18 Season is our 70th Anniversary and the Society will be celebrating along with an original member of the Society who is still attending our plays often several times during the run - Mr. Neville Mole.    Neville will be our honoured guest at our celebration in March.

To join contact the Secretary via the website - you will be very welcome.
